Meet & Greet

Hi there – Welcome!

My name is Bekah. Like many of you, I have multiple roles. For starters, I’m a wife and mommy of two amazing littles (and I’m fantastic at both of these roles, don’t let this blog fool you 😉 I’m Just Teasing!); I’m a work-a-holic to a certain degree; I live every day of my life with an autoimmune disease known as Type 1 Diabetes, 18 years and counting; and I am a Christian.

This blog is going to be a work in progress because in all honesty, I have yet to learn all the features. But with that being said, my goal for this blog is to be a blessing – to start a ripple of kindness! We all have struggles in this world, whether it be relationships, work, children, emotions, health, or all of the above… I want to start by sharing the past year of my journey – the struggles along with the achievements and how God’s hand was a part of it all. I want to share in lessons, in devotions, and in prayer. If you have questions along the way, please ask them. If I can pray for you, please let me know. And if you don’t know God, I’d be happy to introduce you! (Just another insight: I was raised in a good, Christian home with loving parents but it took me 27.5 years for the lightbulb to turn on!)

Now, I understand that I may not be politically correct and I may not say the right things all the time; maybe you don’t want to hear about a journey in faith. Of course, I’m not going to make you read any further (that’s actually humanly impossible because you’re behind your own screen somewhere in this world) but I’d love for you to stick around. Who knows, maybe you’ll have your own lightbulb effect!

If you stay or if you go, either way, I hope you all have a truly beautiful evening!

With love in Christ,

Bekah

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is pleasing and perfect.” – Romans 12:2
